Travel

Understanding cultural differences is all-important in international business. And what better way to learn than by visiting another country? We highly encourage our international business students to take advantage of our unique Jan Term travel opportunities or spend a full semester abroad.

The Business Administration major is designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the way businesses operate. The department offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business.

By focusing on International Business, you will develop an understanding of all aspects of the global business environment, including international finance and cultural information. You will be able to identify similarities and differences between domestic and international business and gain a basic understanding of exchange rates and institutions like the World Bank.

Through your courses and internships, you will develop an awareness of how businesses are affected by international differences in culture, history, politics, the legal environment and religion. As an International Business major, you will also minor or double major in a foreign language.

Converse’s Business Administration BA with an International Business concentration will also prepare you for master’s level studies in Business Administration or related fields.
